WRIGHT, FLORENCE
Mrs. Florence (Mabel) Wright of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at the Valley Park Manor Nursing Home on Friday, August 13, 2004 at the age of 96 years. Mabel was born on December 10, 1907 in the Penhold Area to Samuel and Virginia Pye. She married Sydney Wright on February 28, 1933 and they had one son, Douglas. Mabel worked for the T. Eaton Company in Red Deer for many years. After her retirement, she enjoyed many years of involvement with the Golden Circle. Mabel was a lifetime member of the Gaetz Memorial United Church and was also involved with the Salvation Army. Mabel leaves to mourn her loss, her sister-in-law, Olive Fox and several nieces and nephews and their families. Mabel was predeceased by her beloved husband, Sydney in 1990, her son, Douglas in 1994, three brothers and three sisters. A Memorial Service will be held at Gaetz Memorial United Church, 4758 Ross Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. with The Reverend Brenda Kersell officiating. Cremation entrusted to the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. Interment will follow at the Alto-Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
