Frank GUILLOUX

GUILLOUX Frank Emile Guilloux of Red Deer, passed away with all his family blessing him on his way at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Saturday, December 30, 2006, at the age of 101 years. Frank was born and raised in Kennedy, Saskatchewan District, January 24, 1905. He took his Teacher's Training at Normal School in Regina. Frank taught from 1927 in rural Saskatchewan and Alberta until he retired in 1971. Frank was also an avid and successful gardener, carpenter, and loved all things Scottish. He especially enjoyed keeping up with current events by reading the local paper and listening to CBC radio. Frank will be lovingly remembered by his children: Gerry Dyck of Coaldale, AB, Jim Guilloux (Doreen) of Rocky Mountain House, AB; J.M. (Robin) Guilloux-Johnson (Paul) of Mayerthorpe, AB, Bill Guilloux of Calgary, AB, Betty (Don) Kirby of High River, AB, Bob Guilloux of Calgary, AB, and Mickey Guilloux of Red Deer, AB. Frank’s memory will also be cherished by his five grand children and eight great grandchildren. Frank was predeceased by his wife, Frances Edna Guilloux (nee: Bowlby) and his son-in-law, Armin Dyck. Family and friends are invited for a time of visitation on Thursday, January 4th, 2007, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held for Frank at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer, Alberta, on Friday, January 5, 2007 at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Jonathan Guilloux (Grandson), officiating.
