Gary COTNOIR

March 24, 2007

COTNOIR Gary Adrian Cotnoir was born on September 14, 1940. He grew up in Trail, B.C. At 23 he married and later was blessed with four beautiful daughters, Holly, Lynda, Colleen and Cindy and seven grandchildren, Kyle, Kyra, Tyler, Sarah, Dee Dee, Jasmine and Jennifer. During the course of his life he earned his pilot's license and owned a small plane which he enjoyed for many years. He also enjoyed sky diving. He was community minded and helped build many playgrounds in the province of B.C. while he was a member of the Kinsmen Club. Gary worked for years for B.C. Hydro as a Linesman. Through work the family moved several times and were happy to settle in Powell River and Vernon for many years. His work even took him as far as New Jersey, Texas and Arizona. Since he loved an adventure this suited him just fine. One of his favorite pastimes while living in the Red Deer Nursing Home was to take his scooter and ride to the mall and join Grant and his friends for a coffee and a visit. Gary passed away peacefully on March 17, 2007 surrounded by his family. He will be forever loved and forever missed. Cremation Providers: EVENTIDE FUNERAL CHAPELS 4820-45th Street, Red Deer.
