JARDINE George Douglas passed away peacefully at the Three Hills Health Center on February 9, 2008 at the age of 79 years. Doug will be lovingly remembered by Jean, his wife of 58 years, their children: Greg (Chris); Scott (Sylvia); Jim (Carolyn); Jacqueline (Pat McInenly); Don (Joan); Dave (Tasha) - 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Doug was predeceased by his parents Percy and Ida Jardine; brothers Ken, Don, sister Vivian and sister-in-law Mildred (Ken) and his grandson Tim Jardine. He is survived by his sister-in-law Helen (Don). Doug's early education was in Red Deer. Doug loved to learn and perfect things and his quest for knowledge led him to a variety of places and hobbies. He had an easy manner of making friends at the local coffee shop. In lieu of flowers, friends - if they so desire, may make donations in his name to the Palliative Care for Three Hills and District Society. Thank you to Dr. O'Neil and the staff at the Three Hills Care Center for their care and attention to both Doug and his family. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church (123 - 4th Street S) in Three Hills, AB.
