PODMEROFF George Charles Podmeroff of Red Deer passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on August 18, 2006 at the age of 79 years. George enjoyed camping at his trailer in Boundary, gardening, quading and hunting. He loved spending time with his family, friends and his cat Fancy. He will lovingly be remembered by his three daughters Sandy (Jim) Campbell, Shelley (Murray) Perrin, and Sharlene (Ken) Onushko and his five grandchildren Amy, Josh, Cory, Matt, Jennifer. George was predeceased by his wife Carol and his parents John and Florence, his two brothers; Paul and John, two sisters; Mary and Barbara and two grandsons; Simon and Mark. A Memorial Service will be held at the Red Deer Canadian Legion Branch #35 (2810 Bremner Ave) on Friday, August 25, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of George Podmeroff can do so directly to the Cancer Society, Kidney Foundation or to the SPCA.
