WHITNEY Gerald Frank Gerald was born on October 31, 1925 in Camrose, Alberta and passed away on September 11, 2008 at that age of 82 in Ponoka, Alberta. He is lovingly survived by his wife Theresa Whitney; children: Gerry, Gord, Robert, Karen, Dawn and Trina; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Service of Remembrance was held on Monday, September 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Ponoka with Reverend David Schumacher officiating.
