SHOEMAKER Grant Shoemaker of Red Deer passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at the age of 21 years. Grant was born in Red Deer and lived all his short life here. He loved life, rap music, video games and playing basketball with his friends. He always had a big smile for everybody. He had an awesome sense of humour and a very big heart. Grant will be lovingly missed and remembered by his mother Debbie (Howie) Hedges, his father, Perry (Misty Valstar) Shoemaker and boys, his brother, Gregory Shoemaker, his grandparents; William and Iris Vanigan, Gordon and Marlene Shoemaker and Edward Hedges, the Cicci family; Uncle Dino, Auntie Lou, Nicholas, Sammy and Michelle, the Mantie family; Uncle Garnett, Auntie Sam and Emma Kate, the Martin family; Uncle Neil, Auntie Pam, Anna Marie, and Stephanie, the Shoemaker family; Uncle Terry, Auntie Pam and Connor, the Shoemaker family; Uncle Trent and Tanner as well as numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. A Funeral Service will be held at the Red Deer Funeral Home (6150 – 67 Street) on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Fran Hare officiating.
