HAYES Gregory Gregory (Greg) Hayes passed away suddenly on Friday, June 8th at the age of 51 years. He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Sharon, his daughter, Patricia, step-daughter Nichole (Kelly), his mother, Muriel Hayes, brother, Ken (Cheryl) Hayes, sisters, Marlene (Don ) Roberts, Laurie (Craig) Jensen, Lynn (Terry) Wiswell, grandchildren, Brandon, Jessica, Hailey, Brooklyn and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Bud in 1986 and his brother, Dave in 1990. Greg's life was focused on his family, friends and his love for children. He was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and above all, a friend to anyone who needed his help in any way. Greg had an amazing zest for life and knowledge. He had a terrific sense of humor and often took the opportunity to share his John Wayne impression. Greg was a huge sports fan. He participated in several of them but baseball was what he enjoyed playing the most. Greg's energy, compassion and love for life will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of Greg's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 16th at the Royal Canadian Legion, 2810 Bremner Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the 'Patricia Hayes Trust (Education) Fund' through any TD Canada Trust branch.
