RICHARDSON Gregory Alan Richardson, born April 28, 1948, passed away February 23, 2005 in Sylvan Lake, Alberta in his 57th year. Greg was born in North Bay, Ontario, the eldest child of Robert and Thelma Richardson. Greg spent the majority of his childhood in North Bay until the family moved to Sylvan Lake in 1964. Greg was a very warm, caring, generous and helpful person who always thought of others before himself. Greg was also an animal lover and avid movie enthusiast. He enjoyed his friends, family and his peaceful life in Sylvan Lake. Greg is survived by his mother Thelma Lafee; brother William Richardson; sister Marlene (Brent) Wanner; nieces Billie (Jerry) Richardson, Niki (Lorne) Valentine and Sarah Wanner; nephew Zachary Wanner; great niece Danica Valentine; and his faithful canine companion Katy. Greg was predeceased by his father Robert in 1954, as well as his paternal and maternal grandparents. Funeral services for the late Mr. Greg Richardson will be held at the Chapel of the Sylvan Lake Funeral Home on Friday, March 4, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Sylvan Lake Cemetery.
