ROBERTSON Harold (Robbie) Robertson passed away Sep. 15, 2008 in Victoria, BC at age 82. Robbie was in the Air Force from 1943 to 1959. He received a war medal from 1939-45 Canadian Force's Decoration and a Special Forces Medal from Nato. Robbie married Betty Marsh in Nottingham, England on Aug. 18, 1956. They had a son, James Edward, born Oct. 4, 1958 in England. Robbie and family came to Canada and lived in Red Deer for 28 years and moved to Victoria in 1995. After leaving the forces, Robbie got an inter-provincial Carpenter Journeymen's ticket. Robbie spent the last 4 years, part time in Lacombe and part time in Victoria with his special friend, Jessie Tonneson. Robbie was predeceased by his son, James in 1975 and his wife, Betty in 1997. Robbie leaves to mourn his brothers George Clarke and Albert (Audrey) Robertson, nieces and nephews and special friend Jessie Tonneson and family.
