BURNETT Helen Mabel Helen Mabel Burnett died in Stettler, Alberta on Friday, September 14, 2007 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 69 years. Helen was born April 26, 1938 in Grimshaw, Alberta. She attended school at Warrenville and Grimshaw. She resided in Grimshaw where she met and married her husband Ian Burnett. Ian’s occupation as a rig worker took them many places across Alberta and Saskatchewan during their first years of marriage. After starting their family they moved to Delburne where they have since resided. Helen’s love in life, second only to her family, was flower gardening, creating and renovating. Predeceased by her parents; mother and father-in-law; six brothers; two sisters; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; Helen is survived by her husband Ian; daughters, Sandy (Jerry) Riggins of Erskine, Donna (Charlie) Nichols of Taber and Karen (Rob) Foss of Millet; eight grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; three brothers; numerous brothers and sisters-in law; nieces; nephews; and special friends Bernie and Terry Marten and Diane Payne. Funeral services will be held at the Delburne Community Hall, Delburne, Alberta at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 18, 2007.
