MAASKANT Helena Grace “Nellie†of Stettler, Alberta, formerly of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away at the Stettler Nursing Home, on June 10, 2005 at the age of 90 years. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 P.M., on Monday, June 13, 2005 in The Heartland Chapel of Stettler Funeral Home, 4707–70th Street, Stettler, Alberta. Predeceased by her parents, John and Gladys Cotterell; husband Harry Maaskant; son Gerald; daughter Terry Marilyn; daughter-in-law Anna Margaret; and sisters, Lillian Ceasar and Arlene Martinoski; Nellie is survived by her children, Victor (Lois) Johnson, Garry (Shirley) Maaskant and Janet (Terry) Rowledge; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 7 sisters, Evelyn Jarvis, Ruth Moger, Betty (Wilbur) Stainbrook, Marie (John) Waugh, Edith (Percy) Knapp, Gwen (Gusty) Von Hollan and Shirley Tomalty; numerous other relatives and good friends.
