Herbert HININGER

HININGER Herbert Jay Hininger of Red Deer passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at the age of 95 years. Herb had been a resident of Piper Creek Lodge for the past ten years. He moved there after the death of Alice, his wife of 61 years. Herb & Alice farmed in the Botha and Clive areas prior to their retirement to Red Deer in 1975. Herb leaves to mourn his loss three daughters, Georgina Weitz of Calgary and her children Douglas and Donna, Althea (Danny) Crickmay of Sydney, Australia and their children Anthony and Patricia, and Darlene Neuman of Courtenay, B.C. and her children Cassandra and Lauren and their spouses as well as 11 great grandchildren. Herb is also survived by his sisters May Fraser and Alice Hewes both of Kamloops, and sisters-in-law Gertrude Klaffke and Ann Schoenhoff. He was predeceased by his wife Alice, sons-in-law Harvey Weitz, David Neuman and Ron Cornell, his sister Edna Glaister as well as numerous other family members. Memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Children's Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. from Sunnybrook United Church, Red Deer.
