HIEBERT Mr. Peter H. Herman Hiebert of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Nursing Home on Thursday, March 9, 2006 at the age of 93 years. Peter was born on April 7, 1912 at Humboldt, Saskatchewan. Peter was a loving, kind and devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather and a great friend. Peter's cheerful and friendly manner made him a very enjoyable person to be with. He loved to travel over the years and made many friends. Peter also loved carpentry and made some wonderful pieces for his family to enjoy. In his quiet time, he enjoyed the solitude of reading, or tending to his gardening and his prized flowers and roses. Peter will be very deeply missed but lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of his family and dear friends. Peter leaves to mourn his loss, his children, Roseanne Hiebert, Florian (Nora) Hiebert and Delphine (Don) Derbyshire, all of Red Deer and his four grandchildren, Laverne Hiebert of Calgary, Alberta, Shannon Hiebert of Langley, British Columbia, Rhonda (Michael) Jobson of Richmond, British Columbia and Danielle Hubbard (Eric Verville) of Bowden, Alberta and one great grandson, Zacheray. Peter was predeceased by his beloved wife, Margaret, his parents and numerous sisters and brothers. Prayers will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. A Public Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5508-48A Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Alto-Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta. If desired, Memorial Donations in Peter's honour may be made directly to the Red Deer Nursing Home Building Fund, 4736- 30th Street, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 5H8.
