HILMAN, 1916- 2007 Mr. Art Hilman passed away with his loving family at his side, at the Valley Park Manor Nursing Home, Red Deer on Monday, November 19, 2007, at the age of 90 years. Art was a well known and respected individual in the Red Deer and Sylvan Lake communities. He worked for the City of Red Deer in the Electric Light and Power Department for over twenty years. He continued working by farming, an activity he continued until recently. Art developed Parkinson's in his later years needing live in care, provided in a loving manner by his niece Janet. He is survived by a son, Don (Lorraine), two grandchildren, Laura, Jeffrey all of Victoria, British Columbia, a younger sister, Helen of Sylvan Lake, an older brother, Ray of Goldendale, Washington and numerous nieces and nephews. Art was predeceased by his wife of 60 years in 2003, Jessie. Relatives and friends are invited to come pay their respects at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45 Street, Red Deer on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45 Street, Red Deer, on Friday, November 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Alto-Reste Cemetery.
