HOPKINS, Mrs. Lona Jean Hopkins, beloved wife of Mr. Murray Hopkins of Joffre, Alberta, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at the age of 64 years. Lona leaves to mourn her loss, her loving husband, Murray of Joffre, her children, Robin Denise Morgan (Chuck Coleshill) of Blackfalds, Alberta, Lori Jean Garn (Steve Wiley) also of Blackfalds, Penny Lynn Hopkins (Glen Carr) of Newbrook, Alberta and Daniel Murray Hopkins of Red Deer and her grandchildren, Clayton, Shane, Darwin, Tina, Jennifer, Stephanie, Chance, Tiffany and Brittany. She will also be sadly missed by her sisters, Shirley (Bob) Thorne of Innisfail, Alberta, Sandy Cox and Carol (Ted) Livingstone, both of Tofield, Alberta. A Public Funeral Service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, February 10, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Alto-Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
