STIANSEN Ida Stiansen of Nanton passed away at the High River General Hospital on May 1, 2006 after a very short illness. Ida was born on March 16, 1908 near Anamoose, North Dakota and was the last surviving of a family of ten children. She was predeceased by her husband Olaf; a son Allan; grandson Jeffery Roddie; two daughters-in-law, Betty and Deanna. She is survived by her children, Robert (Elaine) of Sherwood Park, Marion (Allan) Edwards of Red Deer, Joyce (Bob) Roddie, Nanton, Marlys (Garry) Bauman of Calgary and Harold of Calgary. She was a loving grandmother to twelve surviving grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the Nanton Baptist Church, 2410 - 26 Ave. Nanton, Alberta on Saturday May 6 at 1:30 p.m. The Rev., Steve Pike officiating. Interment Nanton Cemetery.
