Irene BERTSCH

BERTSCH, Irene Irene Bertsch, much loved sister, aunt passed away peacefully on December 12th, 2004 at the age of 79. Irene was born on October 9th, 1925 in Eureka, South Dakota. Irene was just four years old when she moved with her family to Canada from the United States. She developed a wonderful spirit of love for her family and cared for each one all her life. Irene moved to Red Deer in 1965 where her focus became a love for the people she was surrounded by. Her memorable smile and laughter will be cherished by all who knew her. Irene is survived by her two sisters Tilley Seibel of Red Deer and Esther Bertsch of Drumheller along with many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank those in her Senior’s Home who cared for her and loved her so much. Your constant caring, loving and sharing will be something that is cherished. Thank you. A special thanks to Jennifer Studor, who faithfully brought her to church every Sunday and to those who cared for her at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be held at Livingstones Church, 2020-40th Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. the Rev. Harold Hunter will officiate.
