Its with great sorrow the family of Jack Blakely announces his passing on March 14th, 2017 at the age of 94 years. He leaves to mourn his wife Brenda Blakely, son Phillip Blakely (Linda), daughter Kathy McIntyre, grand-daughters; Marsha McIntyre and Treena Blakely and great-grandson Sawyer Blakely. Jack is predeceased by Pauline Blakely and grandson Michael McIntyre. Jack spent all his life as a long-time pioneer of Red Deer's Shady Nook area. He was a welder and farmer all his life. Jack had a great love for life, and for family and friends. Always with a helping hand when needed and a great smile.
A Funeral Service for Jack will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Alliance Community Church, 4404 47 Ave, Sylvan Lake, AB at 2:00pm.
