Jacob FIELD

September 21, 2006

FIELD Jacob "Jake" Field of Red Deer passed away suddenly near Pincher Creek, Alberta on September 17, 2006 at the age of 28 years. The first thing one noticed about Jake was a mile wide smile that was almost always present. He had a zest for life and carried that zest and enthusiasm with him in everything he did, from walking the dog, rafting down the river, golfing, his work, and the rest of his many interests including his love of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was a romantic with a heart of gold, especially where Simone was concerned. His positive attitude could not help but rub off on relatives and friends alike. His stay with us was much too short, but the memory of those whose lives he touched will last forever. Jake will lovingly remembered by his wife, Simone, parents; Connie and David Field of Orangeville, Ontario and Pat and Bob Fischer of Red Deer, step-mother, Chris Field of Orangeville, Ontario, one brother, Jason Field of Orangeville, Ontario, two step-brothers; Dustin Dyer and Cody Dyer both of Orangeville, Ontario, one step-sister, Tori Dyer also of Orangeville, Ontario. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Colin and Shannon Fischer and their family, grandmothers; Jerdis Hansen of Killam, Alberta and Pearl Jarvie of St. Albert, Alberta as well as numerous aunts, uncles and many friends. Jake was predeceased by his uncle, Dennis Hansen and grandparents; Albert Frederick Field and Joyce Gloria Field. Those wishing to pay their respects to Jake Field can do so during a time of visitation at the Red Deer Funeral Home (6150-67 Street) on Thursday, September 21, 2006 between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Red Deer Funeral Home on Friday, September 22, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jake Field can do so to the Pediatric Ward of the Red Deer Regional Hospital (Bag 5030 Stn Postal Box Ctr, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 9Z9).
