"Finally Together Again!"

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Edward "Jim" Nash. Jim was born in Alsask, Sas-katchewan as the 6th of twelve children, to Mac and Thelma Nash on January 9, 1937. Jim's first job was at the age of sixteen, where he jockeyed race horses for a local horse owner. He later worked for his uncle as an apprentice electrician near Vegreville, before heading North to work at the Brazeau Dam, where he bravely climbed 75 foot power lines to the Dam. Jim was also a brake man on the Great Slave Lake Railway between Hay River and Great Slave Lake. In 1985 he returned home to Kindersley to farm with his dad. He purchased the farm in 1966 and married Lorna McGill in 1969. They raised two sons, Darcy (Donna) of Camrose and their two children; Joseph (Caryanne) of Airdrie and their three children.
