MANN James L. Mann of Red Deer passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2008, at the age of 84, in the Palliative Care Unit of the Red Deer Regional Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Almira (Hoyme), and his children Linda (Allan) Cave, Bev (Gordon) Anderson, Leonard Mann and Karen (Glenn) Thomson, and his 5 grandchildren. Jim served in the RCAF during World War II as Flight Engineer in 429 Squadron, and was proud of being Air Force. A memorial service will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 40 Holmes Street, Red Deer, on Friday, August 08, 2008 at 11:00 AM.
