SMITH James William "Bill" 1923 - 2007 Bill Smith passed away on January 24, 2007 at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his wife Alice; daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth and Jeff Leavitt; three grand-daughters Elise Wolff (Kevin), Adelle Leavitt and Jocelyn Leavitt; two great grandsons Mason and Porter Wolff; two sisters Bernice Jones of Calgary, AB and Ruby Peterson of Nanaimo, BC. Bill was born at Lousana, Alberta. He taught for many years in various schools throughout the province and also enjoyed farming in Delburne, Alberta. He will be lovingly remembered for his humility, integrity, and charity toward others. Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - day Saints, Bow Valley Chapel (24 Avenue and Crowchild Trail NW, Calgary) on Monday, January 29, 2007 at 1:00 pm with visitation at 12:00 noon.
