SLEMKO, Jerrold Jerrold “Jerry” Slemko of Red Deer passed away tragically and suddenly near Hinton on January 4, 2006 at the age of 58 years. Jerry will be remembered as a man who went out of his way to be helpful and of assistance whenever and wherever there was a need, not only to family and friends, but also to strangers. Jerry left a great impression on all who knew him. He will be fondly remembered by his dear mother, Ann Slemko of Red Deer; two brothers, Bevan (Jan Raymond) Slemko of Red Deer and Marcy (Jan Toma) Slemko of Edmonton; one sister Carmen Spackman of Edmonton, two nieces, Stacy and Kara Spackman, as well as numerous extended family and friends. Jerry was predeceased by his father, John Slemko in 2004. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (20 Kovacs Street, Red Deer) on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. PERSONAL ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL SERVICES 4779 – 49th Street, Red Deer 341-5181 and Calgary 216-5111 entrusted with arrangements.
