PHILBIN (nee Young) Jessie Beryl passed away peacefully on July 7, 2008 at Grace General Hospital in Winnipeg. A longtime resident of Eckville, Alberta, Mom was predeceased by her son Stephen (1996) and her sister Margaret Ward earlier this year. Mom is survived by her husband Frank, her daughters Helen and Theresa, her sons Chris and Andrew and many grandchildren and great grandchildren throughout Canada and Australia. As active members of the Legion in Eckville, Rocky Mountain House and Sylvan Lake, Mom and Frank loved to dance. They also cherished their time together camping at a variety of Alberta campgrounds. Mom had a real love for life, a caring heart and a warm smile for all. Thank you Mom for the love you have shown us and the memories you have left in our hearts. You will be dearly missed and fondly remembered. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Grace General Hospital in Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A celebration of Mom's life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday Sept. 14 at Knox United Church 506 4th Street SW. in Calgary.
