KANNGIESSER, John "Jack" Richard 1921 – 2005 On Wednesday July 20, 2005 Mr. Jack Kanngiesser Sr. of Red Deer passed away peacefully at the age of 83 years. He is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 62 years, Ruth; his son Jack (Lynn) Kanngiesser of Lacombe; his son Dale Kanngiesser of Red Deer; grandchildren Lisa (Brian) Stang of Red Deer; Sean Kanngiesser-Libin of Calgary and three great-grandchildren, Madison Stang, Sam Libin and Austin Libin. He is also survived by his brother Ken Kennedy of Arizona and sister Margaret Johanson of California. Mr. Kanngiesser was a dedicated family man and a successful businessman originally owning a general merchandise store in Hanna, Alberta and later a family clothing store on main street Lacombe, Alberta. A small and private interment was held with immediate family on Sunday July 24, 2005 at the Fairview Cemetery in Lacombe.
