KAPPEL John (Hans) Kappel, 78 of Red Deer, Alberta passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008. He was born to the late Katharina and Hans Kappel Mach 28, 1930 in Oedenburg, Hungary. He is survived by his wife Hilde, his children Wolfgang (Agnes), Dieter, Zita, Linda (Brian) and Rosemary (Clarke); his grandchildren, Mark, Kayla, Cindy, Candice, Robert, Connor, Hughie, Jennifer and great grandchildren, Hunter and Courtlyn; his sisters and brother's in Germany, Alfred (Emma), Trude (Wolfgang), Hildebrandt and Waltraud Munk and many other numerous relative in Germany as well as his brother Ernst and niece Lenor in Texas. He is also survived by his long time friend Ron Hummelt (Anna) of Calgary. He loved carpentry, gardening and nature. In respect towards his wishes there will be no service. In lieu of flowers donation's can be made to the Red Deer S.P.C.A.
