John Michael (Jack) Patterson
Jack passed away peacefully at Cottonwoods in Kelowna, B.C. on May 12, 2017, at the age of 71.
He worked as an electrician with various companies before working for 25 years at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, on maintenance, heating, air conditioning and instrumentation before retiring in 2000.
His wife Mary Jane (Nichols) of 47 years and his daughter Lisa were by his side at the time of his passing. He is also survived by his twin sister Joan Patterson, brother Dave (Jo-Ann) Patterson; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Ed) Powell, Judy (Ross) Rogers, Marlene (John) McLeod, Theresa (Harvey)
Hoskins, Kathy (Steve) Rairdan; brothers-in-law, Ron Nichols, Charlie (Donna) Nichols, Roger (Barb) Nichols, Tom (Norie) Nichols, Michael (Christine) Nichols; Mary Jane's step-mother, Rose; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held in Kelowna at Everden Rust Funeral Services (1910 Windsor Rd.) on June 9 at 2:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson Alberta or Parkinson Society BC.
