AKRE Jolene Francois Akre, beloved daughter of Kathleen Jones and Lorne Akre, passed away in the Red Deer Regional Hospital on September 14, 2004 at the age of 30 years. Along with her parents, Jolene is survived by her sister, Gaylene Whitley of Red Deer, grandparents, Russell and Elnora Pyett of Red Deer, Cecil Akre of Red Deer, her step-sisters, Rhonda (Rob) Bastelle of Innisfail and Sandra (Alex) Dockerty of Calgary, her step-parents, Rachel Akre of Sedgewick and Tom Jones of Innisfail, her loving partner, John Berresford and his family of Big Valley, aunts and uncles; Lorraine and Brian Kerik of Red Deer, Ron and Barb Pyett of Fruitvale, B.C. Stan Pyett of Fauquir, B.C. Ray and Elaine Gabert of Joffre, her cousins; Amanda Kerik, Darcy Gabert, Curtis Gabert, Rhonda Meredith, nieces Birgit and Jenny Whitley, nephews Alex and Shea Klipper, Scott Kallenberger, Damen Severin, numerous great aunts and uncles, her precious cat Babes and ALL those whose lives Jolene touched. Jolene was predeceased by her grand-mother Christina Akre. Funeral Services will be held from the First Baptist Church, 4310-39 Street Red Deer, on Monday, September 20, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will follow at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer.
