Joshua HARVEY

October 17, 2005

HARVEY Joshua Paul Harvey of Bowden, Alberta was born on August 12, 1986 in Moncton, New Brunswick and passed away suddenly in a vehicle accident on October 11, 2005. His passing has brought much sadness and loss to those who have survived him. They are: his mother Angela Mae Harvey of Bowden, his father Paul Frances Harvey (Chris) of Cold Lake, and his brothers Zane and Rodney Harvey of Bowden. He is also survived by his grandmother Doreen VanKoesveld of Mission B.C. and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Josh was a big boy right from his birth and continued to be the big brother throughout his life. While living in New Brunswick he enjoyed visiting his uncle's farm and father's saw mill. In 1998 he and his family moved to Bowden. It was here that Josh was introduced to basketball and other sports. He was on the provincial all star basketball team in 2004. Josh graduated from Bowden Grandview School in June 2004 and started working. At the time of his passing Josh was employed as an ironworker for SRS Rigging Services and he had planned on starting his journeyman's ironworker apprenticeship. He was always willing to spend time with friends and family; listening, comforting and laughing with that boyish grin. Memorial tributes in Joshua's honor may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, Innisfail, Alberta with Bishop Richard Ellingson officiating. Interment to follow at the Bowden Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to: METCALF FUNERAL CHAPEL 4200 49 Avenue, Innisfail. Phone: 227-3123 www.metcalffuneralchapel.com
