It is with deep sorrow that her family announces June's peaceful passing at the Misericordia Hospital on April 1, 2017 at the age of 87 years. She is lovingly remembered by her children; Susan Melnyk, Tom (Trudy) Skjonsberg and Sandra (Mel) Williams. June also leaves 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grand-children and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her mother and father, 2 brothers and 1 great-great-grandson. She will be sadly missed by many other family members and the many people she worked and volunteered with. June retired from the Government of Canada, after which she worked many volunteer hours at the Misericordia and Edmonton General Hospitals. A Celebration of Life will be held at First Memorial Harmony, 10541 81 Ave, Edmonton on May 23, 2017 at 11:00 am.
