SARGENT (nee Munro) Kathleen Anne It is with great sadness that the family of Kathleen Anne Sargent announces her passing on Tuesday December 23, at the age of 60 years. Kathleen passed away peacefully at her home in Lacombe after a long and courageous battle with cancer with her family by her side. Kathleen will be lovingly missed by her husband, Charles and two daughters, Kerry and Jenienne; her sister Rhona (David) Morgan of Forres, Scotland; her brother Derek (Jenny) Johnstone of Turriff, Scotland. She will also be sadly missed by numerous close family, friends and loved ones. Kathleen's family wishes to acknowledge and thank Dr. Graham and the nurses at the Central Alberta Cancer Clinic; Dr. Wildeboer and the nurses at the Lacombe Hospital and Care Center and Florence with Homecare for all the wonderful care they have provided. Additional thanks to close family and friends for all their ongoing care and support. As per Kathleen's wishes there will be no funeral service held, an interment will take place at the Lacombe Cemetery at a later date. A tea will be held on December 30, 2008 at 1:00pm at the Lacombe United Church Hall (5226 51st Avenue) to celebrate her life.
