STINSON Kim Dee-Ann Nov. 14, 1960 to Oct. 8, 2008 It is with extreme sadness that we wish to announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and best friend, Kim Dee-Ann Stinson (nee Rolfe). Surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home, Kim's passing on to the Lord came after a long courageous battle with cancer. Kim was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan where on May 12, 1976, at 15, she met her life partner Dave. Dave and Kim made a wonderful life together eventually relocating to Sylvan Lake, Alberta, where Kim was employed with Co-operators Insurance while actively involved in the community. Kim enjoyed being part of the Spirit of Sylvan Lake committee since it's beginning. As well, Kim served on the Board of the Sylvan Lake Victim's Services unit. Kim was a vibrant, caring, selfless and gentle person whose mission was always to make life better for those she met. Kim was the soul mate, best friend and wonderful wife to her husband Dave. Kim also loved her two daughters to no end, protecting, teaching and leading by example so that they may grow steadily in life. Her grandson "Eli" was the light of her life. Her son-in-law Matt was loved as a son. Kim is sadly missed and leaves behind her husband David, daughters Erin Nicole, (Matt) Johnson and Kendel Leeanne, grandson Elijah David Johnson as well as her mother Rose Rolfe, brothers Gary (Brenda) and Wayne (Terry) and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. Kim is predeceased by her Father Wesley Rolfe and brother Donald Glen Rolfe. A celebration of Kim's life, a true gift to us all, will take place at the Sylvan Lake Alliance Church on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Kevin Haugan officiating. Cremation entrusted to Rocky Mountain Crematorium. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Foundation on Kim's behalf.
