LAWRENCE 1942 - 2008 Mrs. Irma Lawrence, beloved wife of Bob Lawrence of Pine Lake, Alberta passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at the age of 66 years. Irma was born on July 18, 1942 at Red Deer, Alberta. She was raised on a dairy farm in the Crossroads district of Red Deer. She married Bob, the love of her life on July 21, 1962 and thus began her life at Sabre Ranch. She is survived by her husband Bob Lawrence, her three children, Peter (Shelley) Lawrence of Pine Lake, Catherine (John) Mitchell of Twin Butte, Margo (David) Sevcik of Strathmore, a sister, Frieda (Norris) Bragg of Ponoka, a brother Lou (Val) Ahrens of Nanimo, B.C, her grandchildren, Shayne and Matthew Lawrence, Sam, Jack, Ben and Edward Mitchell, Susanne, Luke & Jake Sevcik. She is predeceased by her parents Hans and Irma Ahrens, her brother Alf Ahrens and her niece Marie Dickinson. A funeral service for Irma will be held at Pine Lake Hub Community Centre on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made directly to the Red Deer Hospice Society, 99 Arnot Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, T4R 3S6.
