LEEDER 1935- 2008 Fay Leeder beloved wife of John, passed away peacefully at Bethany Care CollegeSide, Red Deer on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at the age of 72 years. Fay was born on September 19, 1935 at Prescott, Ontario where she lived with her family until she married John and they moved to Red Deer, Alberta and they raised their four children. Fay was actively involved in St. Leonard's Anglican Church. In 1976 the family moved to Calgary. Fay was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved to care for all the family pets. Fay liked to travel and enjoyed her many trips to Eastern Canada, Cuba and Mexico. She is survived by her husband, John of 53 years, her four loving children, Larry (Rosie) Leeder, Chris Zamora (Paul Starke), Brenda Bond (Gregg Brentnall), Mark (Tara) Leeder, five grandchildren, Brooke, Jonathan, Amanda, Jamie and Dayna. She is also survived by three sisters, Mary, June and Joan, two brothers, Bruce (Olive), Elton (Shirley), one brother-in-law, Dwayne, three sisters-in-law, Dolores (Gus), Leda (Frank), Beryl and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Fay was predeceased by her brother, Charlie and her sister, Nellie. The family would like to express their thanks to special friends, Carol Turk and Denise Leeder and also to the staff at Bethany Care CollegeSide, Red Deer and Bethany Care Harvest Hills, Calgary for the wonderful care given to Fay. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Leonard's On-The-Hill, 4241-44 Street, Red Deer on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation entrusted to Central Alberta Crematorium. Memorial donations in Fay's honour may be made directly to Bethany Care CollegeSide, 99 College Circle, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 5H5.
