BOCKUS, Leeland D.G. Leeland Bockus, age 65, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on June 24, 2005, after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife Judy of 40 years; his loving daughters Corrie-Lee (Rick) Sletten of Grand Prairie, AB, Sherry Bockus of Vancouver, B.C., and Stacey (Cory) Martz of Red Deer, AB; and his loving grandchildren Dorin and Keenan Martz. He is also survived by 3 brothers and one aunt and uncle. Lee started to work in the construction industry in 1964. He formed his own company in 1991, traveling to various parts of the world. He enjoyed his occupation to the fullest and passed his knowledge and expertise on to others that worked in his field. Lee also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed family get-togethers, laughing and talking about the old times and playing cards. He also loved to hook up his fifth wheel and go camping. Lee was an active participant in the Masonic Lodge, including holding the position of Past District Deputy. A Visitation will be held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 4929 – 54th St., Red Deer, AB on Friday, July 1, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. Luke’s Church on Saturday, July 2, 2005 at 1:00 pm.
