LAYTON, Lenore Lillian (née McLean) Born near Delburne, Alberta, November 8, 1916. Lenore passed away Monday July 18, 2005 in Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, B.C. Lenore is survived by her son, Keith, of Portland, Oregon and her daughter, Linda (Bruce Roberts), of Pincher Creek Alberta. She is also survived by two brothers, Gordon McLean of White Rock, B.C. and Clare McLean of Vernon, B.C. She was predeceased by her husband Laurie R. Layton, her brother, Ed (Dorothy) of Delburne, Alberta, and her sister, Eileen (Dan Clarke), of Olds, Alberta. Lenore taught school for 40 years in the Yukon, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. After her retirement she moved to White Rock, B.C., traveled extensively and researched her Maclean of Duart lineage. Lenore wished for no funeral service. Flowers gratefully declined.
