LEROUX (nee Roberge) On Sunday, August 14, 2005, Mrs. Beatrice Marie Leroux (nee Roberge) passed away quietly in St. Paul at the age of 102 years. She will be sadly missed by her children, Lorraine Joly, Yvette (Victor) Laboucane, Moza (Clarence) Richard, Claire Charuk, Yolande (Denis) Gagnon and Claudette (Simon) Roy; her daughter-in-law, Tillie (Sharun) Leroux; 27 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ordonne Leroux in 1982; 2 sons, Roland in 1928 and Emile in 1988; 2 sons-in-law, Nicholas Charuk in 1982, Vianney Joly in 2000 and 1 granddaughter, Nicole Gagnon in 1965. A pioneer of Alberta, she was born in Beaumont, N.W.T. in 1903. She was awarded the Alberta Centennial Medal on the occasion of her 102nd birthday on July 23, 2005. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul's Cathedral, St. Paul., Reverend Father E. Croteau will be the celebrant with interment in St. Paul's Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Paul.
