THOMPSON, Leslie Blair Mr. Leslie Blair Thompson of Red Deer, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at the age of 52 years. Blair is survived by his beloved wife Susan and daughter Michelle. His memory will be further cherished by his mother Arloa (Roland) Marsh of Lanigan, Saskatchewan, his father Ray Thompson of North Battelford, Saskatchewan, as well as four brothers, Darryl (Mona) Thompson of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Howard (Maureen) Thompson of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Randy (Lorraine) Thompson of St. Albert, Alberta and Darren (Toni) Thompson of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Anne Flodell of Melfort Saskatchewan, numerous brothers and sisters-in-law as well as nieces and nephews. Blair was born and raised in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. He gained a passion for audio/visual equipment early in life and worked in this industry for many years. Blair met Susan in 1988 while living in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. They wed in 1990. In 1996, Blair and his family relocated to Red Deer. In 1999, Blair changed careers and went to work for the Canada Revenue Agency as a client service representative. Blair was an enthusiastic, caring man with a witty and warm sense of humor. He was blessed with a calm and relaxed personality that attracted people to him and fostered many friendships. Blair was the kind of person that put other people first and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life for Blair Thompson will be held at Parkland Funeral Home on Saturday. September 25, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Alto-Reste Cemetery.
