PRUDEN, Lila Mrs. Lila L. Pruden (Charlton nee Millard) of Red Deer passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Saturday, August 7, 2004 at the age of 79 years. Lila was born and raised in Lacombe and lived there until she moved to Red Deer in the early sixty's. Lila lived life to the fullest, enjoyed and savored every moment she had. She was a longtime member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. Lila is survived by her four loving children, Frank and David Charlton as well as Gord and Kari Pruden. She is also survived by two grandchildren, numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews as well as a very dear and special friend Irene Rowbotham. Lila was predeceased by her two husbands, Frank Charlton in 1963 and David Pruden in 1978 in addition to her brother, Clyde Millard and sister, Evelyn Cull. At Lila's request there will be no funeral, but there will be an open house / wake on Saturday August 14th, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the family home (24 Oreston Close, Red Deer, AB). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Children's Hospital, #300, 1021 - 10 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB T2R OB7, Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta, #205, 609 - 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 2A1 or the charity of ones choice.
