It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Kathy, on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Red Deer Hospice.

Kathy is survived by sons Fred (Linda) Potter of Calgary, Danny of Delta, Ontario, George (Janine) of Red Deer; daughter Charlotte Chamberlain of Edmonton; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; good friend George Smith; also long time friends Eileen Franchuk, Jeanette and Mike Turner, Delores and Ron Bellamy, who welcomed Kathy and Fred to Red Deer in 1979.

Kathy was predeceased by husband Fred Potter of 52 years; grandson Jessie Potter of Red Deer; parents Kenneth and Lillian Hill; and brother Kenneth Edward Hill.

Kathy spent many enjoyable years living and working in Red Deer. Kathy worked at Manor Management where owners Dick and Diane McDonell became very dear friends. Kathy also worked at the City of Red Deer LandLord Tenant Board. She loved her work and took great pride in her career.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at The Salvation Army Community Church, 4837 - 54 Street, Red Deer.
