MALINIC, Lillian Evelyn Mrs. Lillian Evelyn Newnhan Malinic of Deer passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on October 21, 2004 at the age of 84 years. She is survived by her loving husband, John; a sister, Joyce Cusack of Red Deer; a nephew, Rick Synder of Cochrane; a niece, Penny Miller of Calgary; and a sister-in-law, Devany Snyder of Calgary. She was predeceased by her first husband, Jim Newnhan; a brother, Frank Synder; an infant sister, Ethel; and her parents, Louis and Ethel Synder. In her earlier years, Lyn was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She loved animals, especially collie dogs. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
