POTTER Lillian Jean Potter (Dicks) Our beloved Lillian went to meet her savior with her family by her side at the Calgary foot hills hospital on August 30, 2008 at age of 42. Lillian was laid to rest at her home town in La Scie, NL on September 5, 2008. Lillian was born on July 29, 1966 to Jean and Lloyd Dicks of La Scie. On July 18, 1987, Lillian married Morley Potter and they started their life together in La Scie. She was the proud mother of Mason and Brandon who were the joy in her life. In 2001 they moved to Red Deer, AB. Lillian had met and made some really dear friends here. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed painting and doing lots of crafts. She was such a crafty lady. Lillian was a great woman of God and dedicated her life to being his witness. She was known to everyone as an angel. She is survived by her husband Morley, 2 boys Mason and Brandon. Her mother Jean Dicks of La Scie, NL. Two sisters both of Red Deer, Laurie Dicks (Rick Kish), Gail Dicks (Earl Gallant), Brother Ross Dicks (Denise Hewlett) of La Scie, NL., three nieces Stacey Haley of Red Deer, Brittney Wells of Edmonton, Jessica Kish of Red Deer. One nephew Jamie Rideout of La Scie, NL., and many other relatives and close friends whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her father Lloyd Dicks of La Scie, NL., Uncle George of La Scie, NL., Grandparents Warrick and Elizabeth Dicks of La Scie, NL., Grandparents Bunyan and Beatrice Rideout of Roberts Am, NL. Donations may be made in Lillian's name for AVM Research to the Clinical NeuroSciences, Calgary Health Region. Foothills Medical Centre, 1403-29th St. NW, Calgary, AB. T4N 2T9. A memorial service will be held at Victory Church, 98 Oberlin Ave., Red Deer, AB. Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 2:00 pm. with Pastor Chuck officiating. There will be pot luck to celebrate her life in the basement of Victory Church following the service.
