LINDEMAN

May 8, 2007

LINDEMAN Mr. Clarence Lindeman of Elnora Alberta passed away peacefully at the Three Hills Hospital on Friday May 4th, 2007 at the age of 75 years. Clarence was born October 12, 1931 near Huxley Alberta and resided in the Elnora area farming the home place where he raised cattle and grain. Clarence had many passions and hobbies. He could cut a rug with the best of them and almost never missed a cabaret or local dance. He played the keyboard and loved music. Clarence was an avid fisherman and went on many adventures - flying in to fish on the Ram, rafting the Copperhead River and fishing off the west coast. He was outgoing and extremely social, never hesitating to strike up a conversation. More recently he took up quading and this mode of transportation provided easier access to his many secret fishing holes. He always had the next best bait or cutting edge lure that was sure to catch the big one. A hunter, who enjoyed the outdoors, each fall Clarence would pack up his hunting and camping equipment and head out west with a group of friends and had many a great hunting or fishing story to tell. Throughout his life Clarence was very active in the church and spent hours studying the Bible. He was well read on a variety of subjects and loved a good discussion. Clarence was always out in the community or having people into his home. Friends and family dropped by often and were met with a warm welcome and wonderful visit. Many a time the house was filled with laughter and good times were had by all. Clarence will be lovingly remembered by his brother Mel (Margaret) Lindeman, sisters Doris (Jamie) Creighton of Nanton, AB, Iris (Allan) Short of Airdrie, numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and many close friends. Predeceased by his father and mother, Ed and Emma and infant sister, Gloria. A celebration of Clarence's life will be held May 9, 2007, 2:00 P.M. at the Elnora Community Hall. Prairie Winds Funeral Home of Trochu in care of arrangements. 1-877-607-3832.
