LINKER On November 20, 2008, our heavenly Father took to himself our precious little son Alexander James Linker at the tender age of 6. Alexander was diagnosed with leukemia in September 2006. He bravely endured chemotherapy and then a bone marrow transplant. In October 2008, with great sadness, we learned that the leukemia had returned. During these extremely difficult procedures, he was always cheerful and had a smile for those who visited. Alexander was very tender hearted and would show concern for others despite his own battle. He will be greatly missed and loved always by his parents David and Christine Linker, his sisters Kathryn, Elisabeth and Charlotte, his grandparents Wilbur and Hattie Linker and Gary and Marilyn Bylsma; great grandparents Barb Hoogstra, Nell Reitsma, Stuart and Betty Bylsma; uncle Bert and aunt Jackie Mulder and their children, uncle Paul and aunt Melonie Linker and their children, uncle Jon and aunt Michelle Bult and their daughter, aunt Sarah Linker (special aunt and his teacher), uncle Steve and aunt Rosie Bylsma and their children, uncle Dan and aunt Jean Bylsma and their children, uncle David and aunt Amy Brands and their children, uncle Andy and aunt Shannon Bylsma and their son, uncle Ryan and aunt Courtney Bylsma, uncle Brett and special friends Vonette and Jason Roadhouse, as well as numerous great uncles, aunts and second cousins. Alexander was predeceased by his sister Jessica. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 5704-51 Avenue, Lacombe. A private family interment will be held at the Lacombe Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital, Unit 4E3 in memory of Alexander, 1502 College Plaza, 8215-112 Street, Edmonton, AB T6G 2C8.
