SHUST Lionel Alfred 1923 - 2008 Lionel Alfred Shust passed away in his sleep on August 8, 2008. His wife, Jean May, predeceased him. He is survived by Sons; David (Brenda), Barry (Marlene), Ondre’ (Debbie), Rick (Connie) and Daughters; Suzanne (Ray), Stephanie (Ivan), Theresa (Darryl) 21 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren, one Stepbrother Robert Harrylock, the McCullough family and many friends. Lionel served during World War ll with the Royal Canadian Dragoons #H63829 from July 31, 1941 - July 31, 1945 seeing action in Britain and Sicily, Italy, where he was wounded on January 1, 1945; "You fought so that we could enjoy freedom, we will always be proud of you for serving". A Memorial Service will be held a the Royal Canadian Legion, 2810 Bremner Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, August 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Donations can be made in Lionel's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 4730A - Ross Street, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 1X2.
