Lois HENLEY

HENLEY Lois Henley passed away peacefully on February 28,2008 in the Lacombe Nursing Home. Lois was born in Lacombe on April 6,1927 and lived all her life in the Lacombe area. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Karen Waldo and her son Dale (Brenda) Booth both from Lacombe. She also leaves to mourn four stepdaughters Diane (George) Thurlow of Meadowlake Saskatchewan, Carol (Jim) Anderson, Sharon (Mike) Sutherland both of Red Deer, and Donna (Lawrence) Fobert of Lacombe. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Kevin (Lee), Camille (Stephen), Jaclyn (Joey), Jodi (Drew), Sherri, and Karlee (Steve). Also Nina (Troy),Lyndon, Andrew, Matthew (Julie),Meaghan, Paul, Andrea (Stuart), and Victor (Angella). Her greatest joy were her great grandchildren Akeera, Charly, Fox, Rilyn, Abbegail, Cameron and Elizabeth. She will be remembered by her two sisters Irene of Florida and Eleneor of Edmonton; also by her sisters-in- law Marj Nowlin, Myrtle Booth, Janet Booth and brother-in-law Vern (Marie) Booth as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a host of wonderful friends. A special thanks goes to the staff of the Lacombe Long Term Care Unit 3 for their care and support as well as a very special thanks to Doctor Keller. Funeral services will be at the St. Andrew's United Church, 5226-51 Ave, Lacombe, Alberta on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 2.00 p.m. Interment will be held at 11.00 a.m. at Alto-Reste Memorial Gardens, Red Deer, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Alberta or a charity of the donor's choice.
