Lois HOGBERG

HOGBERG Lois Eilene Hogberg (nee Adrian) of Red Deer passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Lois was born at Chaplin, Saskatchewan on November 21, 1935, and moved to the Rocky area in 1937. She worked in the kitchen in a logging camp with her mother, where she met her future husband. She married Henry November 22, 1952 and they moved to Red Deer in 1959. Lois worked for the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre from 1970 to 1994. Lois is survived by her husband Henry and five children; Anita Duncan, Judy (Nick) Kaikkonen, Andy (Yvonne) Hogberg, Bruce (Laurie) Hogberg, and Kevin (Donna) Hogberg. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer, AB on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society, Red Deer Section, 4730 A Ross Street, Red Deer, AB T4N 1X2, or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
