LOWRY 1925- 2006 Vera Lowry of Innisfail passed away on December 13, 2006 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Vera was born and raised in Manitoba. After her marriage, she and Bruce moved to Alberta, spending many years in Edmonton, Calgary and Innisfail. Vera will be sadly missed by her loving family; husband Bruce; her son Dale, his wife Deb and their children Chris and Laura; her son in law Dick Fisher and his daughters Shawna and Julie; her sisters Grace (Bruce) Stone, Sharon (Dennis) Hubich and Donna (Doug) Jennison; brother in law Ron (Donna) Lowry as well as six great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Vera was predeceased by her loved daughter Janet Fisher of London, Ontario in 2004. At Vera's request there will not be a formal service. A support gathering for family and friends will be held at the Innisfail Funeral Home & Crematorium (4415-49th St. Innisfail) on Saturday December 16, 2006 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
