LYONS (Loyek) Mabel Catherine It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful and precious wife, mother, grandma, sister, auntie, and friend; daughter of John Henry and Florence Margaret (Weiss) Loyek. Mabel is survived by her husband Keith Lyons, sons, David, Wayne, and Grant (Denise); grandchildren, Morgan, Yvette, Sierra, Taylor, and Teran; brothers, Elmer, Leonard (Sharon), Earl (Lois), Roy, Allan (Laurel), Lawrence, Bob (Penny); sisters, Audry (Stephen), Norma, Yvonne (Micah), Janet (George). Mabel was predeceased by her parents, brother-in-law Chuck Hayward, and sister-in-law Bev Loyek. Mabel had a loving personal relationship with Jesus Christ and that gave her the strength and courage to face the challenges of everyday life. This was done with and abundance of grace that touched the lives of many, and extended to missions in Cuba. Mabel had a zest for life and a smile as big as her heart. Mabel will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of her family and friends. A Celebration of Mabel's life will be held on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodynook Christian Reformed Church, Woodynook, Alberta. A private family interment will take place in Horn Hill Cemetery.
